Christmas was nice, but I am glad it is over! The stress of the holidays is something I probably should learn to handle a little better. It was so nice taking some time off work to have 5 days home with my family. We really didn't do much but spend time together. No rushing to get anywhere - on Saturday after Christmas I stayed in pajamas all day! We took down Christmas decorations already and it is nice to have the space back in our family room where the tree goes. Jensen always gets so many toys for his birthday and Christmas we have no idea where to put any of it!
I got spoiled this year! Tons of gifts cards including Visa, Amazon, and the spa (from Corey). Silhouette stuff for cutting vinyl (business is still going pretty well), clothes, makeup, and my mom said she will take me to buy a few maternity outfits to have for Puerto Rico!
Today is New Year's Eve and I am at work for 4 hours and then enjoying the rest of the day home with Jensen. Tonight we are going to Zack and Jackie's house and Jensen will stay overnight with my mom. We are going to do dinner over there and just hang out. The boys will be partying while us girls will be "moms".
I am still feeling very nauseous all the time. The new medicine I got, Diclegis, has been working, but not as well as I hoped. I am supposed to take that medicine 3x a day but on an empty stomach. It is hard to have an empty stomach when you are pregnant and when you are sick so you are supposed on snack a lot. Water is my worst enemy right now. I am trying to drink it, but makes me feel worse. I have been adding peach ice tea Crystal Lite and that seems to help a bit. Not eating a lot and having a hard time snacking like I should. There is about 1 time a day that I feel really hungry and actually eat a good meal. Otherwise I mostly just stick to the 3 meals a day and have small portions. No weight gain yet! 7 weeks tomorrow!
My 6 week appointment with Dr. B was last Friday (2 days after Christmas). Everything seemed to go just fine. He did an ultrasound and you could see a small sac, but that was it. It was too early to really see anything. I go back the 3rd week of January for my 10 week checkup. Dr. Brown estimates a due date of August 20th. Dr. B did talk about having a c-section for my delivery, but I want to do some research on VBACs and see what I find. I was worned about your uterus rupturing during labor after you have had a c-section and it sounds terrifying. I just need to have all the info before I make a decision. Dr. B isn't pushing me to make a decision and isn't rushing me which is nice. I would love to have a vaginal birth for the sack of my health and healing. It will be so hard to take care of a 2 year old and a newborn after major surgery!

Baby #2
Okay, here we go again!
I found out on Thursday, December 12th that I was pregnant again. It shouldn't come as a surprise as we planned this, but it happened in 3 months this time (versus 6 with Jensen). I was thinking we would just get baby ready (be off birth control and get on track) and get pregnant once I came back from Puerto Rico.
Tomorrow will mark week 5 and I am already BEYOND nauseous nearly all day. The differences I have already experienced:
I found out sooner since my boobs hurt so bad. I knew the week prior!
I am already feeling sick and have since the weekend (pretty much when I found out). With Jensen I was sick at exactly five and a half weeks.
I haven't thrown up yet and with the first I started throwing up as soon as I started feeling sick.
I feel the bloat/tire feeling around my belly already. My jeans already feel tight!
I am starting at a heavier weight (about 6 pounds) and hoping to gain less this pregnancy then I did with Jensen. I technically gained over 30 pounds with Jensen but in the last month I was losing weight and at delivery I had gained 28. I haven't been very active lately with the weather change (the high is in the 20s) but I am hoping to pick it back up and only gain 25-30 pounds again.
I am already peeing (what feels like) every 30 minutes. I am also having to get up in the night already! Holy cow - how things start much faster this time!
My first doctors appointment is next Friday, 2 days after Christmas, and I will be 6 weeks. Hoping to hear the heartbeat, but I will be happy with anything that early on. I am sure I will go back a few weeks later for the heartbeat if we can't hear it next week.
I will post more later. Back to work!

2013 In Review
I feel awful that I have not posted ANYTHING since Easter! Time just moves too quickly in our house and days turn to months.....
I figured the best way to do this is a year in review (from Easter) and post a few of my favorite pictures.
*Corey started school at Weber State in May for Computer Science. His first two semesters are now complete. His first semester he got a 4.0! I am so proud of him!
*Jensen said "mama" for the first time on November 20th. Holy cow - FINALLY! I am no longer "this"
*Jensen turned 2 on October 6th and we threw a pretty fun Sesame Street party at our house. Aunt Susan and Aunt Sheila flew in again to celebrate.
*I started doing nails again out of our house in October and that has kept me fairly busy. In the meantime I started my own nail decal business and have done 2 vendor shows and created an Etsy site that has been fairly successful so far.
*Still working at CHG/CompHealth and love it. February will mark 6 years back. I sitll carpool with my mama a lot, which I absolutely love. I love seeing my mom nearly every day.
*Corey is still working for his dad while he is in school. They have been really busy these past few months which has been really nice. Corey would probably prefer it to be slower with full-time school though.
*Jensen is as busy as ever - he has picked up a lot of new words and talks more now that he is 2. He loves being forward-facing in the carseat. He is still a picky eater and loves sugar. We try to get him to eat more foods though and only gets a piece of candy a day.
*Jensen loves dinosaurs, Spongebob, watching movies, playing outside (on days that permit it), going on walks as a family, and having me read stories to him.
*I tried potty training him a few months ago without success, but hopefully we can try again soon
*We did a lot of hiking as a family this year and I completed 3-4 5k races with Jensen in his jogging stroller.
*Corey and I went to a concert at Usana that he really wanted to see (My Morning Jacket)
*My mom and I went to Bruno Mars!
*My mom celebrated her 20 year anniversary with CHG in August and qualified to go to President's Club in 2014 to Puerto Rico. Guess what??? She is taking me as her guest! Tickets have already been booked!
*My in-laws are amazing and my mother-in-law still watches Jensen 5 days a week. This past Aug/Sept Aunt Eileen started watching Jensen on Wednesdays at our house which has been really nice.

Easter 2013
So we actually celebrated Easter over 2 weekends and several days. The weekend before Easter (March 23rd) we have Jackie, Zack, and Glavin over for a Easter egg hunt and lunch. The weather went from fabulous that week to freezing and snowing that weekend so we had to do the hunt inside. Our fridge went out on March 19th and Sears couldn't fix it until March 28th so we ordered pizza for our lunch. The boys had a lot of fun and it was funny to see how they found their eggs. Glavin knew what to do and knew to put his eggs in the bucket. Jensen on the other hand... he wasn't sure what to do! He would find an egg, open it, drop the plastic egg on the floor, and want to eat the candy through the foil wrapper. We finally tried showing him to put his eggs in his bucket and keep moving, but I guess it was a confusing concept.
The following Saturday (March 30th) we went to Little Gym, got Jensen's first haircut done at Cookie Cutters in Draper, and then went to my grandma's house for lunch and an Easter egg hunt. It was a busy morning. Jensen did great at the Little Gym (as usual) and actually participated in circle time without crying! We went straight from the gym to Cookie Cutters and Jensen was calm until the hair stylist actually started cutting and it got worse when she sprayed his hair with a water bottle! Luckily it only took her 10 minutes and he got a balloon out of the deal. Oh and I got a piece of his hair to scrapbook. The Easter egg hunt went pretty similar to the one the previous weekend - Jensen opened every egg first! At least the weather was fantastic and Jensen loved being around all of our family. I should have taken more pictures of family that was there, but I got too wrapped up in taking pictures of Jensen since this was such a good Easter egg hunt! Sunday we went to breakfast with my mom and played in her backyard after and had Jensen open his basket from the bunny there. Then that afternoon we went to Corey's parents house to have dinner and play in the backyard. Corey's aunt Eileen and grandma Donna were there. We had a great time.

February 14th {The Day of Love}
Today is Feb 14th and I must say that this year I am super happy that it is Valentine's Day! I don't think today is just about sharing and claiming love for your spouse, but also for your family including your children.
Jensen and I made a lot of gifts this year for the ones we love. I made an alphabet book for Corey where each letter was for something that I love and appreciate him for. I tried to stick to our relationship and not just about him being a great dad to Jensen.
Jensen made a "10 things I love about you" book for his dad and it turned out so cute! I used pictures from my cell phone so the quality wasn't the best, but it was the thought that counts. Jensen also did a cute card from Walgreens (I love them for printing) that had a robot on it and said I love you from here to mars. If you know anything about Corey, you know that he loves reading and watching anything to do with space. He made a Twitter account just to follow NASA!
Last night was one of my new happiest moments. Corey decided to register for school! He is going to attend Weber State and take his classes online like I did at Phoenix. He will be getting his Associates in Computer Science. His ultimate goal is to get a Bachelors in Computer Science, have a good solid job and make a lot of money. The dream for me is for him to do something that he loves, make good money, and let me be a stay at home mom.
Here are few pictures from the day so far. Jensen isn't happy because he hit is head really hard this morning on the edge of the table and instantly got a huge bruise and goose bump. Poor little man!

Family Pictures {1 year}
I forgot to post pictures of Jensen's birthday party! I still don't have them posted anyone but on the home computer, so here are the professional ones we had by my fav photographer Mary with DMC. We did these in September so I could have pictures for birthday party invitiations. Here are a few- what a handsome little man!
January {15 months}
Today is February 6th, 2013 and you just turned 16 months, so I better post about January now before I forget!
The first part of January you got incredibly sick and Dad and I were freaked out. You couldn't break a fever of over 101 for at least 4 days. We took you to Dr. Omura on a Sunday and he said you just had a bad virus and all we could do for you was keep you comfortable and give you Tylenol. You broke out in a bad rash all over which really scared me. You wouldn't eat and you hardly drank anything. You wanted to be held all the time and you would whine since you can't say many words still. Dad and I stayed home with you every day you were sick to keep you feeling secure that we were there. You finally started feeling better after nearly a week. Now I know what it is really like to deal with a sick baby and it is no fun! Hopefully you don't get that sick in a long time!
Since the first part of January was dealing with you being so sick, the rest of the month was fairly uneventful trying to get you better. You didn't have much energy for another week after that. Here is your 15 month update:
When we took you to Dr. Omura the day you were sick you only weighed 22 pounds. You actually lost weight. You went to the Dr. Omura again the week after you were sick for you scheduled 15 month appointment and you gained a pound back. You had to get shots too which was not fun and didn't help you get any better. You were in the 29 inch range still so your stats didn't change much since you were 12 months old. Dr. O said that you were due for a growth spurt before 18 months.
You LOVE hiding toys and other objects and then having Dad and I look for them. Luckily you haven't hidden anything important like car keys (yet).
You play the hiding game in the bath (which I find hilarious) because you will hide a bath toy under your leg, make me look all over the bathroom for it, and then when you go grab it from under your leg you realize it isn't there anymore - it floated away! It is a fun game that we love to play together.
You still love the bath, bath toys, and splashing. You HATE having your hair washed though! You cry the entire time. You also got a light-up rubber ducky for Christmas from Gma that you love playing with in the tub and you make me turn off the lights. It is pretty cool!
You have a love-hate relationship with The Little Gym. You aren't a big fan of the red mat time, but you like climbing all over the big equipment and you are really good at walking on the balance beams.
The second week of January you started eating like a horse! I think you are finally getting that growth spurt we were waiting for. You will eat what we are having, but you HATE eggs. We have cooked them every style and you still will not touch them. It is the one time that I have to make something different for you. You still love the same foods and a few new ones: mac and cheese, Eggo waffles, spaghettios, grandmas chicken noodle soup, green beans, rice, etc.
You now have 9 teeth - you finally got your first molar that came through. Your second molar has broken the skin but is not all the way out. I am sure it will soon. The molar that came through is on the top left.
You still love the vacuum and Daddy bought you your own Dyson vacuum to match - see this adorable photo!? Here are a few others from January
