I am 32 weeks tomorrow! The weeks are just flying by but some days definitely seem to drag.
I at work and very busy today but wanted to type up a few things so I don't forget later...
My last appt was last Tuesday. I weigh 181 pounds. I have gained 31 pounds in 32 weeks. Oh boy!
I finally took my wedding ring off last week. The weather here is in the 90s and the heat makes me swollen. I am worried I won't be able to get it off.
I found a few new stretch marks and they are on the front lower part of my tummy. Hopefully they fade!
My boobs are luckily not getting much bigger (since they got huge with Jensen and never went back down to size) but they are definitely more full. They are also leaking a bit. Lovely!
My c-section is scheduled now! August 13th at exactly noon. I have to be there 1.5 hrs early to check in, etc. I also have to do blood work at the hospital the day prior.
I plan to take my maternity leave starting 8/11. I am hoping to be able to afford to take the full 12 week leave with Hayden. If I do, I will return to work on 11/3.
Leg cramps at night are getting a little too consistent and painful for my liking. I slept in my compression socks last night and that seemed to help a bit. I read last night that upping magnesium in my diet could help. I read that leafy greens, nuts, a bunch of other healthy food contains magnesium. I gave him and I am eating a very green salad with dried cranberries and nuts with a poppseed dressing for lunch today. Hoping every little thing helps.
Sleeping is getting more uncomfortable. Partly due to waking up to pee a lot. Other part due to being hot or my legs hurting.
Jensen update:
Jensen told me "I love you mama" for the first time last Thursday 6/19! Definitely a moment for the books - his little voice telling me he loves me melts my heart.
Jensen says that his baby sister's name is Brooke. Not Hayden.
Jensen went from not counting (saying everything was 1) to counting to 8!
Still wetting the bed at night - need to figure out how we went backward. He is doing great during the day though and getting better at telling us when he has to poop too. I no longer have to brib him with a treat or toy to go either. Finally!
Not much else is going on. I am planning a party/get together at our house for the 4th of July since it falls on a Friday this year (not this week but next) so I better get working on that! My mom is doing a lot to help me with it too. I want to have family and friends over and visit before Hayden arrives and figured this was the perfect day/excuse. We will BBQ hamburgers and hot dogs and keep it very "summery".
Corey and I are trying to plan a night or two away in July for just the two of us. One night alone before Hayden arrives. I think we are going to stay in Park City the weekend of July 12th. I do not want to take any time off work for "fun things" because I need to save every little bit of time off for when Hayden arrives.
Signing off - gotta get back to it!

May Update
Wow! I have not posted in 6 weeks! Goes to show how fast times flies and how busy the last month and a half has been.
Let's see....What has changed since 4/30 when I wrote last...
*Mother's Day: Corey got me some beautiful flowers and a custom necklace that has both Hayden and Jensen's names on it. I already had one from this company but it only had Jensen on it and so I asked for a new one. I LOVE IT and haven't taken it off since.
*On May 24th I treated myself to a spa day at Sego Lily (favorite place EVER) and got a 1 hour prenatal massage and a 90 minute pedicure. I was in heaven! I wish I could afford to do that all the time. Needless to say I am going to find a way to do it again in the next 9 weeks before Hayden arrives. It was nice to use up all the gift cards I received since Christmas and I didn't pay a penny!
*Rylee turned 5 on May 1st and my mom went to Seattle to visit. It is always so quiet and weird when she is gone. I am in such a habit of seeing and/or talking to my mom every day. I always miss her when she is gone, but I know she always has so much fun with Morgan and his family. Rylee had a Monster High party and from the pictures on Facebook it looked like her and her friends had a great time. I wish I could be closer to them to celebrate birthdays and other holidays
HAYDEN/PREGNANCY UPDATE:
The last weekend of May was Memorial and we had a 3 day weekend. That Saturday was the day I went to the spa, but the rest of the weekend I spent working on stuff for Hayden. Her dresser is 100% done now and all put together. I am really happy and proud of how it turned out. It isn't perfect, but I really do LOVE it. It was a lot of hard and took a lot of patience, but it really paid off.
Corey also put up Hayden's crib and I put her bedding on it. I LOVE how it all ties together with her dresser.
Still had pregnancy pain and aches in May. Nothing new to report though. Still gaining weight like crazy (me and the baby) but I will write about that next....

24 Weeks
How far along? 24 weeks today! 4/30/14
Total weight gain? Too much! I think I am around 23 lbs so far
Maternity clothes? Wishing I had more, but not wanting to spend the money.
Stretch marks? No new ones yetSleep? This is touch-and-go for me. I have been in so much pain from the hip/back/pelvic bone stuff that getting comfortable and actually falling asleep is a job. I have been taking Tylenol PM here and there and that really seems to help
Movement? Her movements are getting stronger the bigger she is getting. I love feeling her kicks
Labor signs? None
Best moment this week? I love my physical therapy I have been doing the past two weeks for pain management. I am always sore and in pain, but the heat, ice, and massage to my lower back is pretty lovely!
Food cravings? No new ones. Still loving bacon!
Anything making you queasy? Nope! Tomatoes whether on a sandwich, in a sauce, etc. is giving me heartburn though
Gender? Girl
Wedding ring on or off? On
Miss anything? Feeling good enough to run after Jensen. The pain is making me lay down a lot of relax. Corey has taken over a lot of responsibilities in my house and I feel really lazy. I miss having more energy too. I thought I would have energy by now to actually get things done!
General mood? Happy! I know that the pain sucks, but I also know it will go away and the baby will be here before I know it. I am trying to remember every day that I am lucky to be pregnant and many woman would kill to be able to have a baby of their own. Being grateful for this little peanut!
Symptoms? Just all the crazy pain mentioned above and very sleepy all the time.
Belly button in or out? Poking out a bit and the rest is flat. Very strange and pretty ugly looking!
Looking forward to… My next doctors appointment. It is on Tuesday and I can't wait to hear the heartbeat again.
Here is a selfie I took over the weekend-so just shy of the 6 month mark. I wish my butt was that small, but I must have just caught myself at a good angle hahaEaster
I am 24 weeks as of today, but before I do that post, I figure I better write about Easter before I forget (it has already been 10 days)
Easter weekend was fun and full of celebrations! Here is how our weekend played out. Also, two weeks prior to Easter my mom and I took Jensen to Camera Shy in Gardner Village to get his picture done. Since he is still OBSESSED with Ninja Turtles I let him wear his favorite shirt and pick out a few toys. At the end we did his Spring/Easter pictures and they have real bunnies to use a props! Jensen loved it although he wasn't really sure what to do with them. They would hop away and he would get worried. So dang cute!
Saturday 4/19 (day before Easter)
I have to make special note that not only was this the day prior to Easter and we had a lot going on, but it was also the 3rd year anniversary of my dad passing away. I thought about him all day, but I know he wouldn't have wanted me to dwell or be sad. I tried to be happy all day and spend the entire day with my family
I got up with Jensen and before we made breakfast we made strawberry cupcakes and boiled eggs to decorate later. Once they were cooling, we made breakfast and Corey got up and joined us. After breakfast we got ready and went to Wheeler Farm for their egg hunt. It was organized really well and was killer deal at only $12 for a morning of fun! We met the Stauffer's there with their cute little boys. They got to do an egg hunt where every child got to pick up 10 (empty) eggs. Once they had them they could head over to another area, drop off their empty eggs, and pick up a cute little basket filled with candies, toys, and coupons for free kid's meals to a lot of local restaurants (I loved that part haha)
Cal and Jill met us there as well and Jill took some really cute pictures of everyone. The boys fed the ducks and took a wagon ride and saw the Easter Bunny. Jensen stood in line and then when it was his turn he said no. I can't blame him. I would be scared too!
Jill and Cal left and the rest of us headed to our house for a pizza lunch and the boys got to decorate the strawberry cupcakes with blue frosting and lots of sprinkles. They made a huge mess but they had a great time.
Later that day my mom came over and while Corey worked on homework the three of us decorated eggs with the TMNT kit I bought for him. He loved it and kept redying the eggs different colors. It was cute mess! Then Corey BBQ'd hamburgers and corn for all of us. It was a busy and great day!
Sunday 4/20 (Easter)
I woke up incredibly sore and did not want to move. I think I over did it on Saturday! We got up, got ready, picked up my mom and went to breakfast at Village Inn around 9am. After breakfast we went to my mom's house and did Easter baskets there. I had a TMNT themed basket for Jensen and my mom also had a cute basket for him with candy, clothes, books, etc. My mom hid plastic eggs full of candy and money around the house and Jensen LOVED it! Once he found them all he kept asking my mom to hid them again so he could find them. I think throughout the morning she did this at least half a dozen times! Whatever keeps him busy! After all of that Corey headed home so he could study as his two last finals were the following day. Jensen and my mom played and I layed in her bed all day. I don't think we went home until around 4:30 or 5! It was nice to spend time relaxing and I know my mom loves every minute she gets with Jensen.
Okay, now on to pictures!

Week 22 and 23
The last week has been crazy and I completely forgot to post. Not much has changed though! I hit 23 weeks yesterday so I will write from last week up until today as a combined post.
I have gained about 22 pounds so far. Far more than I ever wanted to gain, but not much I can do about it. I am starting to feel it go into my thighs (DANG BACON!), but otherwise it all is in my belly and boobs. Yes, they are HUGE again and they never went back down after having Jensen! EEK
I no longer have any crazy cravings, but I am still loving bacon and probably eat way too much of it. At least I am not eating it with weird things like ice cream or pickles! I also go through spurts where I really want just one thing. Lately it has been Oreo cookies. I make sure to have a bit of milk with them and only let myself have a few a day (like 3 or 4 max).
I honestly have not been feeling so great these past two weeks. I went into the doctor on Friday the 11th because I was having this really weird sharp pain in my pelvic area and it felt like knives. Dr. Brown did a complete check-up since I was supposed to go in the following Tuesday anyway. He said everything looked fine, but that my pelvic bone wasn't staying connected like it should due to the hormone Relaxin. He said it is working a little too well so my pelvic bone (the two pieces held together by a ligament) are not wanting to work together as the ligament has been stretched from the hormone. It can cause my pelvic bone to shift slightly and get locked into a different spot that makes it incredibly painful to do just about anything. He just suggested to relax (HAHA) and take some Tylenol.
The following week I was in so much pain that by that Thursday I called in and talked to Deb and she referred me to a physical therapist in Draper. I saw him the next day and he was really nice. The PT consists (so far) of heat packs, low back massage as my hips also really hurt, stretches that are controlled by the PT, and ice. I am there for about 1.5-2 hours at a time. Yesterday was my second time going and I have to say I am in so much pain today that I am about to lose it. It is between sore and just shear pain. I would love to go home, but I need every ounce of PTO for physical therapy and for when Hayden arrives. The pain will probably not go away or at least the problem won't until after I give birth and the relaxin hormone leaves my body. It is going to be a long 4 months!
Last weekend was Easter and although I was in a lot of pain, we still had a fun weekend. I will do a seperate post on Easter and include pictures.
Things are moving right along with my job and hopefully my promotion that will hopefully be in effective in just over a month (June 1st is the goal). I absolutely love my leader and I can't imagine not working here. I love my job so much that I just tell myself to push through the pain and I stick it out.
Not much else is new. Just trying to do what I can to take it easy. Corey just wrapped up finals this week for his Spring semester. His busiest semester yet with 17 credit hours and he has an A in all classes and could potentially end with a 4.0 GPA for the semester. Due to his good grades he has already been receiving he received a summer scholarship from Weber to cover tuition for the summer semester as long as he takes 12 credit hours. I am so proud of my husband! He is incredibly dedicated and it is so fun to see someone's untapped potential after being together for 7+ years. His hard work is sure to pay off with a fantastic job in the next few years when he is ready to enter into his field.
Okay, I need to get back to work, and this post is huge. I will write about Easter later :)

....And the door got in the way, mom!
On Tuesday night (4/22/14) Jensen was helping Corey gather up the garbage in the house as it was the typical garbage night. Jensen always wants to run in front of you and yells "me first" on a regular basis. Jensen was running from the master bedroom to his room (which is just outside our room) and didn't quite make it into his room and smack straight into his bedroom door jam. I was down the hall but heard the loud thump and then lots of crying. Corey immediately grabbed him and Jensen was yelling for me so I grabbed him. I sat down with him and he put his head into my chest so I hadn't looked over him yet and neither had Corey. In the midst of his screaming I lifted him to look him over when I saw a HUGE goose egg right on his forehead. It was the scariest thing I have ever seen. I screamed for Corey who was still gathering up garbage and he ran to me, saw Jensen, grabbed him, and ran to the car. We didn't think twice, he needed to be seen by a doctor.
We jumped into the car and I sat with Jensen in the back and called my mom because I needed to find out where I could take him. Although we have a hospital directly across the street my insurance isn't accepted there, so I we ran to Draper to the Urgent Care. He would not stop crying, yelling for mama, and saying "go home". He clearly did not want to go the doctors. Corey looked VERY panicked the entire drive. When we got there Jensen would not let me put him down, let Corey hold him, and he wouldn't let me even sit with him. Just stand and cuddle. We got all signed in, but it took almost an hour to be seen.
FINALLY! We saw a PA and she said that he hit a major blood vessel in his forehead so that is why it was so bad and why it was that big that fast. She said the huge bump will go away, but he can have a big bruise for a while and possibly a black eye from the blood in his bump draining into his face. The tried to check his eyes for a concussion but he wouldn't open his eyes and wouldn't stop crying. They told us what to do (which we checked at home) to make sure he was okay. Otherwise they said he was fine, used an ace bandage to wrap a big ice pack to his forehead, and sent us home.
When we got home it was well past his bed time so we put him in pajamas and watched cartoons. He wouldn't settle down (stop crying and fussing) and I realized it was probably because he was experiencing the worst headache ever! Corey gave him some Tylenol and he was out for the night quickly after. He was still asleep when I left for work the next day, but by last night he looked so much better. Here is a picture of him in the car on the way to Urgent Care and then a picture of him 24 hours later. SO MUCH BETTER! His bruise is turning different colors, but the huge bump is almost gone already! Such a tough boy. Tougher than his mama, that's for sure!

Stretch marks? No new ones

Movement? Not feeling a lot today, but she is pretty calm during the day.
Labor signs? Nope. Lots of cramping this past week, probably from ligaments streching
Best moment this week? It has nothing to do with the baby. Things are going great with work and I am up for a promotion and hopefully soon. Also, the weather has gotten really nice this week and we are spending more time outside as a family. I love it!
Food cravings? I love Oreos right now. I crave them at night with milk.
Anything making you queasy? The usual - I am still having to take Diclegis. Still sick most of the day
Gender? GIRL
Wedding ring on or off? On
Miss anything? No. Nothing in particular or at least right now.
General mood? Pretty happy and then grumpy when I am super tired or get these bad cramp feelings
Symptoms? Just the cramping.
Belly button in or out? Half in and half out still
Looking forward to… My doctor's appointment next week. Next check is on Tuesday.
